Geyikbayiri is a special atmosphere of an international party. Climbers from all over the world come here because Turkey is inexpensive and colourful. There are lots of well-bolted walls, and climbing there is a pure delight. All this thanks to a large number of campsites. Since this is a purely climbing area and there is no other activity, climbers train, live side by side and cook in the same kitchen. As in "Climber's Garden", for example. And then gather in the evenings in a common dining room.

You can stay in tents or at houses. Food is bought in a village shop (higher up the road), or in the town of Akdamlar (below), where the market is open on weekends and where you can reach on foot. The sectors are within walking distance of campsites, so renting a car is not necessary. This makes travel more economical. Campgrounds are near Geyikbayiri village: "Climber’s Garden", "The Land", "Rido Camping", "Kezban’s", "JoSiTo", "Rasayana", and the "Peak" Hotel.

The geological rock is Mediterranean limestone with its own characteristics: sharp relief, grottoes, caves, pillars, сhimneys, pockets and holes. Climbing is for an every choice. In the winter months there is comfortable weather for climbing, and in summer it is too hot. Today in Geyikbayiri there are about 1000 routes and it continues to develop. Nature: pine forests, olive groves, pomegranate, fig, lemon and orange orchards. Wild boars are found in the forest, goats are found on the rocks. The area is located near Antalya, from the rocks you can see the sea. But to swim, you have to go down to the valley and get to the beaches in Antalya.


Geyikbayiri is not the only climbing area near the Antalya resort. There are others: Olympos and Chirali on the coast, and others...
