
Sant Llorenc del Munt is one of the closest large climbing areas near Barcelona. Rock type - conglomerate. The relief is formed by several “floors” of rocky belts. Most sectors have overhangs. In our guide there is the most popular part of the area - La Mola. The routes are mostly difficult, but moderately skilled climbers will also be fine. For beginners and children - there are not so many options. Most sectors are facing south. It’s pretty comfortable to climb here in winter.
Sant Llorenc del Munt is a natural park. Therefore, visitors should pay special attention to the environment. Do not leave or take something in the park. La Mola is the most visited part of the park. Not only by climbers, but also other outdoor enthusiasts. However most visitors interesting in the old monastery and restaurant, so climbing sectors are usually visited only by climbers.

Approach
From the parking lots in Matadepera there is a clearly visible trail to the sectors and Monastery. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get up to the first sectors. Others are in 5-10 minuets walking from each other.
